Toxins in our Fruits and Vegetables

The old wisdom tells us we need to eat more fruits and vegetables but that applies to food nutrition and not to environmental toxins.  When it comes to modern farming methods we also need to pay attention to the chemicals used to grow our food.  Given that organic foods are more expensive we need to spend our dollars wisely in the places that get us the most bang for our buck.

The worst fruits and vegetables having the most pesticide residues and are the most important to buy organic:
